Axton Salim

Director

Mr. Axton Salim, 39, an Indonesian citizen, was first appointed as a Director of Indofood based on the resolution of the AGM in 2009, and re-elected in 2012 and 2015. He heads the Dairy and Beverages Divisions, and is concurrently the Director of ICBP (2009 – present), Non-Executive Director of IndoAgri (2007 – present) and Gallant Venture Ltd (2014 – present), and Commissioner of Lonsum (2009 – present) and SIMP (2007 – present). He also serves as Global Co-Chair of Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Business Advisory Group (2014 – present) and Director of Art Photography Centre Ltd (2016 – present). Previously, he was appointed as an Assistant CEO of Indofood (2007 – 2009) and started his career in the Indofood Group as a Brand Manager for IFL (2004 – 2007).

Mr. Salim obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, US in 2002. In 2017, he participated in various training programs, workshops and seminars, including a one-year program of “Innovative Dynamic Education and Action for Sustainability (IDEAS) 6.0” starting September 2017.

He is related to Mr. Anthoni Salim, and Mr. Franciscus Welirang, who are Directors of the Company, and is affiliated to the Company’s substantial shareholder.
