Christopher H. Young

Commissioner

Mr. Young, 60, a British citizen, was appointed as a Commissioner of Indofood based on the resolution of the AGM in 2016. He is concurrently Director of Roxas Holdings Inc (2015 – present), Executive Director of First Pacific Company Limited effective August 2017, Chief Financial Officer of First Pacific Company Limited (2015 – present) and a Member of the Advisory Board for
Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (1998 – present). He was previously the Chief Financial Advisor for PLDT (1998 – 2015), Finance Director of Metro Pacific Corporation (1995 – 1998), Group Financial Controller of First Pacific Company Limited (1988 – 1994), Senior Audit Manager of Price Waterhouse, Hong Kong (1985 – 1987) and Audit Manager of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, London (1979 – 1984).

Mr. Young obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Waid Academy, Fife, Scotland, in 1975, and a Master of Arts (Honors) degree in Economics from St. Andrews University, Scotland, in 1979. In 2017, he participated in training programs, workshops and seminars including “New Business Models, Evolving Business Models and Strategy in the Years Ahead” on 7 December 2017 and “Board Evaluation” on 12 December 2017.

He has no affiliation with the members of the BOC or BOD, but is affiliated to the Company’s substantial shareholder.
