Christopher H. Young

Commissioner

Mr. Young, 59, a British citizen, was appointed as a Commissioner of Indofood based on the resolution of the AGM in 2016. He is concurrently Director of Roxas Holdings Inc (2015 – present), Chief Financial Officer of First Pacific (2015 – present) and a Member of the Advisory Board for
PLDT (1998 – present). He was previously the Chief Financial Advisor for PLDT (1998 – 2015), Finance Director of Metro Pacific Corporation (1995 – 1998), Group Financial Controller of First Pacific (1988 – 1994), Senior Audit Manager of PricewaterhouseCoopers, Hong Kong (1985 – 1987) and Audit Manager of PricewaterhouseCoopers, London (1979 – 1984).

Mr. Young obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Waid Academy, Fife, Scotland, in 1975, and a Master of Arts (Honors) degree in Economics from St. Andrews University, Scotland, in 1979. In 2016, he participated in various training programs, workshops and seminars, including “The Philippine Competition Act and Philippine Competition Commission” on 3 May 2016, “ESG Reporting – HKEx Requirements” on 12 October 2016, “Synopsis on Legal and Regulatory Issues” on 16 October 2016, “Digital Governance: Issues in Emerging Technologies, Digital Transformation, Risk Management and Governance” on 23 November 2016, and “Strategic Renewal for Survival and Growth” on 9 December 2016.

He has no affiliation with the members of the BOC or BOD, but is affiliated to the substantial shareholder of the Company.
