Donut ubi isi Saus Melon / Frambozen (Cassava Donut with Melon /Raspberry Filling)
Dessert

Ingredients :
 
Dough mixture:
50 g castor sugar
5 g salt
150 ml water
11 g instant yeast
400 g Cakra Kembar flour, sifted
50 g Indomilk milk powder
50 g Orchid butter
1 egg, beaten
300 g cassava, steamed, peeled off and mashed
 
 
 
Filling:
75 ml Syrup Indofood Honeydew /Frambozen
10 ml Indomilk condensed milk
25 ml boiled water
10 g corn flour
 
 
Directions :
 
Dough mixture:
1. Stir in sugar, salt and water until sugar dissolves. Set aside
2. Mix instant yeast, flour, milk powder and stir. Add butter and stir until slightly grainy
3. Make a hole in the middle part of the dough, pour beaten eggs into it. Mix using hands and knead repeatedly to one side
4. Add cassava, pour sugar mixture little by little while kneading until the dough doesn’t stick on your fingers anymore
5. Form dough into a ball, place in container. Wrap with plastic sheet. Leave for one hour until dough rises to twice its original size
6. Punch dough with hands to remove air
7. Dough is now ready for use
 

Filling:
1. Mix Sirup Indofood Melon/Frambozen, condensed milk and boiled water, then put on low heat
2. Add corn flour, stir until it thickens

Donut:
1. Roll dough into a 1 cm thickness. Cut out 8 cm doughnut rounds
2. Deep fry in medium heat until they turn brownish-yellow and ready. Remove from heat, drain and cool off.
3. Insert melon/raspberry sauce in a squirting pocket. Set aside
4. Make holes through the donuts with chopsticks. Squirt sauce to fill up the holes
5. Sprinkle with icing sugar. Serve warm
