Axton Salim

Director

Mr. Axton Salim, an Indonesian citizen, was first appointed as a Director of Indofood based on the resolution of the AGM in 2009 with the latest reappointment in 2021. He heads the Dairy Division and is concurrently the Director of PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (2009-present), Non-Executive Director of Indofood Agri Resources Ltd. (2007-present), Gallant Venture Ltd. (2014-present) and First Pacific Company Limited (2020-present), as well as Commissioner of Lonsum (2009-present) and SIMP (2007-present). He started his career in the Indofood Group as a Brand Manager for Snack Foods Division (2004-2007) before he was appointed as an Assistant CEO of Indofood (2007-2009).

Mr. Salim is also part of the United Nations Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement Business Network Advisory Group, where he serves as a Co-Chair, and SUN Business Network Indonesia as a Coordinator (2014-present), as well as Nanyang Business Schoo as Advisory Board Member (2020-present). He is a recipient of the Alumni Achievement Award from Leeds School of Business, the University of Colorado Boulder in 2021 for his sustained commitment, support and exceptional services to the campus and the community.

Mr. Salim obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, USA in 2002.

He is related to Mr. Anthoni Salim and Mr. Franciscus Welirang, who are Directors of the Company, and is affiliated to the Company’s substantial shareholder.
