Mr. Christopher H. Young, a British citizen, was first appointed as a Commissioner of Indofood based on the resolution of the AGM in 2016 with the latest reappointment in 2024. He is currently an Executive Director of First Pacific Company Limited (2017-present), Director of PacificLight Power Pte. Ltd. (2019-present) and Roxas Holdings Inc. (2015-present), and a Member of the Advisory Board for PLDT Inc. (1998-present), Member of the Council of Board Advisors of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (2023-present), and a Trustee of IdeaSpace Foundation, Inc. He was previously the Chief Financial Officer of First Pacific Company Limited (2015-2022), Director of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (2019-2023), the Chief Financial Advisor for PLDT Inc. (1998-2015), Finance Director of Metro Pacific Corporation (1995-1998), Group Financial Controller of First Pacific Company Limited (1988-1994), Senior Audit Manager of Price Waterhouse, Hong Kong (1985-1987) and Audit Manager of PricewaterhouseCoopers, London (1979-1984).
Mr. Young obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Waid Academy, Fife, Scotland, in 1975, and a Master of Arts (Honors) degree in Economics from St. Andrews University, Scotland, in 1979.
He has no affiliation with the members of the BOC or BOD, but is affiliated to the Company’s substantial shareholder.
