Indofood strongly supports the initiatives undertaken by the Office of the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Indonesia on the MDGs through the Pencerah Nusantara program or ‘Archipelago Enlighteners’ program launched in 2012. The program is an enhancement of community health center-based health services that sends doctors and other medical personnel to assist medical workers at community health centers.

Currently, the Pencerah Nusantara program works with seven community health centers (Puskesmas), namely Puskesmas Kelay in Kelay District, Berau, East Kalimantan; Puskesmas Ahmad Yani on Ende Island, East Nusa Tenggara; Puskesmas Sikakap, in the Mentawai Islands Regency, West Sumatra; Puskesmas Ogotua, South Sulawesi; Puskesmas Pakis Jaya, Karawang Regency, West Java; Puskesmas Tosari, Pasuruan Regenncy, East Java and Puskesmas Lindu, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi.
