Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (“BPOM RI”) Confirms That Indomie Meets Food Safety Standards

BPOM RI has issued public statement on EtO and 2-CE test results in Indomie products found in Taiwan. BPOM RI states that the test results showed no detectable levels.

 
Jakarta, 19 September 2025 – Regarding the information related to the detection of ethylene oxide (“EtO”) in Indomie Soto Banjar Limau Kuit Flavour in Taiwan, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (“ICBP” or the “Company”) states that BPOM RI has conducted testing on retained samples from the same batch as the product identified in Taiwan. BPOM RI has confirmed that the test results showed no detectable levels of the substance and were well below the maximum limits established by the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
