Indofood is proud to be part of the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit 2023 event. On 3rd of September 2023, Axton Salim, Director of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk had the honor of being a speaker in one of the panel discussion with the theme "Envisioning ASEAN's Economic Future: Trends, Transformations, and Triumphs".

During panel discussion, Axton emphasized that the key challenges for aspiring entrepreneurs as areas of opportunity growth are the demographic in Asia and the gaps that posed opportunities such as financial inclusivity MSME’s growth, and internet access / technology mastery.

Apart from Indofood, the panel discussion featured the following participants: Anindya Bakrie - CEO of Bakrie Group, Ms. Le Thi thu Thuy - Global CEO of Vinfast, Mr. Zhengjun Zhang (Jun) - Vice President of Huawei Asia Pacific, Ms. Michaela Browning - Vice President of Government and Public Policy of Google Asia Pacific, and Mr. Michael Lawrence Obe - Chief Executive of Asia House.

In addition to participating in the panel discussion at this event, Indofood also showcased exhibition booths where it presented some of its programs and featured products to introduce to the ASEAN delegates in attendance.
