To guarantee the highest standards of food safety and quality control in every product, Indofood imposes stringent controls across each stage of the production process, including risk assessment on product safety and mitigation.
Our management approaches are in accordance with Integrated Quality Management Program and Good Manufacturing Practices principles. Each of our production facilities is certified with the relevant Food Safety or Quality Management System. Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams, led by the Food Safety Leader, ensure standards are maintained in each unit.
The same stringent food safety and quality standards we adhere to in our existing products are also followed and applied when we develop new products. We ensure that ingredients, technologies, and processes used do not pose physical, chemical, or microbiological threats, and use ingredients and food additives permitted under Government food regulations. For product packaging, we are committed to using only appropriate packaging that preserves product quality and safety during its shelf life and meets food safety regulations and standards. At the product distribution stage, we conduct hazard identification and risk assessments for warehousing and logistics operations in line with our Good Warehouse Practices (GWP).
