Our oil palm seeds are produced using world renowned breeding populations from Southeast Asia and Africa. We meet the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders through our two state-of-the-art seed breeding research and development centers: PT Sumatra Bioscience (Sumbio) in Bah Lias Research Station, North Sumatra and PT Sarana Inti Pratama (SAIN) in Pekanbaru. They produce high-yielding seeds free from Genetically Modified Organisms and are both certified to Quality Management System ISO 9001.
Notable achievements by our team encompass the development of advanced planting materials exhibiting heightened resilience against Ganoderma disease, enhancements in the quality screening of seedlings before commercial planting, and the introduction of a controlled fertilizer release system. This precision in fertilizer application not only ensures optimal timing but also contributes to efficient warehouse space utilization.
To effectively mitigate the risk of flooding, our estates undergo detailed mapping to pinpoint low-lying areas serving as catch basins and identify drainage routes that might impede harvesting activities and contribute to soil erosion. Leveraging the capabilities of drones, we transcend physical constraints to conduct expansive ground surveys, generating precise topographic data.
