Approaching the Eid Al-Fitr, Indomie Facilitated 11.275 Warmindo Entrepreneurs

Jakarta, 6th of April 2024. Approaching the Eid Al-Fitr 1445 H, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) dispatched tens of thousands of Warung Makan Indomie (Warmindo) entrepreneurs along with their families to their respective hometowns. This year, Indomie facilitated 194 buses dispatched from 36 points across Jabodetabek, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta and Malang. The homecoming program, which has been running since 1994, has been warmly embraced by Indomie’s partners, Warmindo entrepreneurs.

The Warmindo Homecoming is an annual initiative by Indomie, serving as an expression of gratitude and recognition for Warmindo entrepreneurs. “One of the ways we foster closeness between Indomie and its aficionados is through Warmindo. Many of our participants have run their establishment for over a decade, building strong bonds with loyal customers. Just as Indomie continually innovates its flavours to suit consumer preferences, Warmindo adds its own unique touch with a secret blend of creativity through unique menu that can go viral in society. It’s this culture of innovation that fuels our shared prosperity,” explained Taufik Wiraatmadja, Director of ICBP.

Since its inception, the Indomie Homecoming program has seen a steady rise in the number of participants. “This year, we welcomed a total of 11.275 participants. Departing from Masjid At-Tin’s parking lot this morning, 13 buses ferried 767 participants to various destinations such as Kuningan, Sumedang, Yogyakarta and beyond,” remarked Harry Tampi, Head of PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Division Noodle Cibitung during the launch of Indomie Homecoming with the theme “The Warmth of Being Together Celebrates Victory” held at TMII Jakarta, Masjid At-Tin parking lot. The launch was attended by the Deputy Minister of Manpower of the Republic Indonesia as well as officials from the ministry.

Participants arriving early were treated to an array of activities at the Indomie stands, exciting giveaways and a collective prayer session. “For Indomie, Warmindo entrepreneurs are not only partners; they are integral members of our extended family. We organized this homecoming program to ensure their journey is not only comfortable and safe but also imbued with warmth. We hope that this sense of warmth will linger as they reunite with their families, friends, and colleagues to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr in their hometowns,” added Taufik Wiraatmadja.

Wawan, the proprietor of Warmindo Marindo in Condet, East Jakarta expressed his gratitude, saying “We are immensely thankful to Indomie for empowering entrepreneurs like us and for orchestrating this free homecoming program, not just this year, but in previous years as well. May Indomie continue to flourish and advance.”
