Indofood CBP Supports Creative Industry Through 'Garuda di Dadaku' Animated Film

Inspiring the younger generation to dare to dream and achieve their aspirations.

Jakarta, April 13, 2026 – PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (Indofood CBP), through Indomilk Kids and Chiki, reiterated its commitment to supporting the Indonesian creative industry through a sponsorship collaboration for the animated film "Garuda di Dadaku", produced by BASE Entertainment and KAWI Animation. The initiative forms part of Indofood CBP’s long-term commitment to the development of national football, while promoting positive values that inspire Indonesia’s younger generation to pursue their dreams and embrace the process required to achieve them. The support was officially introduced through a series of exciting activities at Car Free Day Sudirman, Jakarta, on Sunday, April 12, 2026.

The animated film 'Garuda di Dadaku' marks a new chapter for the 'Garuda di Dadaku' intellectual property, which was previously successful as a feature film in 2009, followed by a sequel in 2011 that left a deep positive impression on millions of viewers. After 15 years, this inspiring story returns in a contemporary animated format designed to engage a new generation. Directed by Ronny Gani, a globally experienced animator and visual effects artist, the film is scheduled to premiere in all Indonesian cinemas starting June 11, 2026.

Fierman Authar, Head of Consumer Engagement, Corporate Marketing Division at Indofood CBP, stated: "Indofood CBP is proud to be part of the 'Garuda di Dadaku' spirit, an iconic and inspiring story deeply rooted in the hearts of Indonesians. This animated version presents a fresh approach encouraging young people to dare to dream and persevere in achieving their goals. Through Indomilk Kids and Chiki, which have also become part of the daily lives of Indonesians, we want to play a role in providing a fun, exciting, and inspiring experience for families and the youth."

Maintaining its football-driven theme, the animated film 'Garuda di Dadaku' introduces a new character, Putra, a boy aspiring to become a professional footballer. His story is enriched by the presence of Gaga, a witty and energetic Garuda bird character who accompanies Putra on his journey to reach his goals. Their interactions bring a series of exciting, imaginative adventures that provide a new color to the "Garuda di Dadaku" universe. The voice cast features notable names including Keanu Azka, Quinn Salman, Kristo Immanuel, Revalina S. Temat, Ringgo Agus Rahman, Emir Mahira, and footballer Rizky Ridho.

Shanty Harmayn, Producer at BASE Entertainment for the animated film "Garuda di Dadaku," added: "'Garuda di Dadaku' has always held a special place for me. Since the first film in 2009, this story has been a platform to convey messages of dreams, hope, and courage. Through this animated version, we want to continue that spirit and expand the film's mission with a strong, inspiring story and broader reach; therefore, we greatly appreciate the collaboration with Indofood, which has become an important part of this journey."

Car Free Day Marks the Kick-off of the "Garuda di Dadaku" Activity Series
The Car Free Day event in Jakarta on Sunday, April 12, 2026 marked the launch of a series of promotional activities organized by Indofood CBP in support of the animated film.

From morning through midday, visitors were treated to a range of interactive activities designed to deliver engaging experiences for families. These included a meet and greet session with the film's voice cast and the character ‘Gaga’, ball juggling attractions with football players, and interactive games offering exclusive collaborative merchandise. The official trailer of the animated “Garuda di Dadaku” was also screened, offering an early glimpse of the film and building anticipation ahead of its theatrical release.

Moving forward, the series of supporting activities will continue until June 2026, including movie screenings with Football Schools (SSB) in various cities, competitions for children and families at Rumah Indofood Jakarta Fair Kemayoran, activations at several stadiums during Liga Indonesia matches, and school visits. Indofood CBP, through Indomilk Kids and Chiki, will also launch digital activations via interactive social media content and promotional collaborations on e-commerce platforms.

These initiatives underscore Indofood CBP’s commitment and active role in advancing Indonesia’s creative industry, while strengthening the connection between its products and Indonesian families and youth.

"In line with Indofood's commitment to supporting Indonesian football for over a decade, our support for the animated film 'Garuda di Dadaku' is a form of appreciation for the creative works of the nation's children. Beyond sport, football is a powerful medium for promoting positive values such as perseverance, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Through the creative touch of animation, we hope these values can reach even wider and inspire Indonesia's younger generation," concluded Fierman Authar.
