The Workforce Nutrition Program was set up to ensure that food served in Indofood’s employee canteens abides by the government’s nutritional guidelines. In 2020, a survey on the nutritional content of the food menu provided in the employee canteen were conducted to monitor the suitability of the nutritional content of the food served against the government’s “My Plate” balanced nutrition guideline. During the COVID-19 pandemic, efforts were directed at online education. Highlights included a Balanced Nutrition comic series, nutrition and health webinars, tips for staying healthy at home, and exercise classes conducted three times a week.
