MERA is a collaborative effort by the public and private sector, NGOs and community organizations to restore and protect the mangrove ecosystems and reduce the vulnerability of communities in coastal areas.

In 2020, we collaborated with YKAN through MERA initiatives in Muara Angke, North Jakarta; Muara Gembong, West Java; and Muara Cisadane, Banten. Highlights included the construction of a gateway and 237.9-meter boardwalk along Muara Angke to support future developments.
