CBP Group partners with Indomie stallholders through the Warmindo program, which aims to impart best practices on food hygiene and food stall management, and to encourage better welfare among the stallholders.
In 2019, we continued to recognize the contributions of the Warmindo network by organizing a Mudik Warmindo program for Indomie entrepreneurs to return to their hometowns for Eid al-Fitr celebrations. The program supported more than 10,000 homecoming participants and utilized hundreds of buses stationed at several pick-up points in DKI Jakarta, Cibitung, Semarang, Yogyakarta and Surabaya.
We also invited micro-business customers to the CBP Group’s Noodle factory to learn about GMP principles and to see firsthand how Indomie is produced. Separately, a Green Warmindo program was initiated to collect postconsumer packaging waste from the Warmindo network for recycling.
